Legal Advisor – Property/Conveyancing
Location: Hybrid (Basingstoke-based with flexible home working)
Type: Full-time | PermanentJoin a forward-thinking housing organisation as a Legal Advisor in a busy in-house legal team, supporting the sale of affordable homes and shared ownership properties.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of Shared Ownership Plot Sales
- Draft contracts, leases and transfers
- Liaise with solicitors, estate agents and internal teams
- Approve mortgages and review conveyancing plans
- Handle enquiries and general legal admin
What You’ll Need:
- Legal qualification or equivalent experience in property law
- Experience in conveyancing (ideally Shared Ownership or plot sales)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
