As Business Development Manager, you will act as the bridge between cutting-edge infrastructure and market needs. You’ll proactively identify new business opportunities and build strategic collaborations.
- Lead the development of a portfolio of funded projects in climate, energy, and mobility, in collaboration with academic and industry partners.
- Expand and manage a client portfolio active in these domains.
- Monitor market trends and funding opportunities at regional, national, and European levels.
- Serve as the primary contact for research groups and companies, providing technical and operational support.
- Advocate for the value of innovation infrastructure and the importance of the energy and climate transition.
- Report directly to senior management.
Strategic Impact in Sustainability and InnovationGrowth and Autonomy in a Collaborative Environment
- Master’s degree preferred, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in business development.
- Experience in drafting funding proposals is a plus; ability to synthesize complex texts and coordinate writing teams.
- Familiarity with funding channels
- Knowledge of climate, energy, or mobility is a strong asset.
- Structured, flexible, resilient, and customer-oriented.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
- Commercially savvy, results-driven, and focused on long-term relationships.
- High integrity and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with emerging tools like Copilot.
- Passionate about sustainability and innovation, and eager to stay informed on the latest developments.
