Join our amazing restaurant team at Pyhätunturi!Were looking for passionate and skilled waitstaff to join our team at Restaurant Aihki, located within Sunday Morning Resort by the scenic Lake Pyhäjärvi. Restaurant Aihki is known for its high-quality, modern Nordic-Scandinavian cuisine, crafted from fresh, local ingredients and served in a warm, sophisticated atmosphere.This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves hospitality and takes pride in delivering memorable dining experiences. If you appreciate excellent service, fine food, and the unique flavours of the North, youll fit right in with our team.Your Main Tasks Will Include:
– Welcoming and serving guests in Restaurant Aihki with genuine warmth and professionalism
– Presenting our dishes and beverages knowledgeably, highlighting the ingredients and culinary philosophy behind them
– Ensuring smooth and attentive table service during dinner services
– Assisting with setting up and closing the restaurant
– Handling reservations and coordinating with the kitchen and reception teams for seamless service
– Upselling wines, drinks, and special menus when suitable
– Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurants dining areasWhat We Value:
– Previous experience in restaurant service, ideally in a fine dining or high-quality à la carte setting
– Training in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar is an advantage but not mandatory
– Passion for high-quality food, Nordic cuisine, and excellent service standards
– Good communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude
– Fluent English skills are essential; conversational Finnish is highly appreciated. Additional languages are a plus, as our guests come from many countries.
– A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to handle busy shifts and remain calm under pressure
