Job description
Position SummaryBased in our Dublin office, the Manager, Insurance, will manage aviation and corporate insurance matters, assist the legal team in the support of key transactional activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on various initiatives.Responsibilities
- Review and manage aviation insurance and reinsurance certificates for the fleet
- Support internal deal teams on insurance requirements or questions
- Manage customer insurance renewal processes, ensuring timely receipt and review of renewal certificates
- Maintain accurate insurance data on internal systems and provide regular reports to management
- Liaise with customers and brokers to ensure insurance compliance with contractual and internal risk policies and manage due diligence processes
- Assist in insurance claims management and technical incident reporting
- Provide ad hoc assistance across a wide range of insurance-related matters
QualificationsEducation & Certificates
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Qualification in Aviation Insurance is preferred, but not necessary
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3+ years’ previous experience of working in aviation insurance within the leasing sector
Competencies & Attributes
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems (such as Salesforce / CMS)
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think independently and identify solutions to issues as they arise
