Job Description Summary This is an exciting and varied role within a dynamic multi-country team working with PET (Positron Emission Tomography) products, such as FASTlab cassettes. In this role, you will be providing technical leadership and driving problem-solving activities around the PET radiopharmaceutical drug products produced using FASTlab cassettes. The successful candidate will need to be proactive, open minded, flexible, self-driven with a proven track record of problem-solving and strong teamwork.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesEnables problem-solving and continuous quality improvements through detailed analysis of batch dataCreates and manages action plans and problem-solving reports to ensure KPIs are metProvides support to customers and to QA for product complaints related to all PET products and consumablesGenerates reports, test protocols and risks assessments to support the validation of products and consumables and or quality decisionsLeads investigations to determine root cause and puts in place corrective actions and recommendationsDrives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processesEvaluates, generates and translates ideas into achievable projects leading to productivity and simplification gainsQualifications and RequirementsBachelor’s degree in chemistry / chemical engineering or similar scientific discipline or equivalentStrong experience working in the pharmaceutical industry (manufacturing, R&D, or technical support)PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and/or QC expertExperience in PET tracer manufacture (cyclotrons, chemistry systems platforms, QC methodology) is essentialStrong problem-solving abilities for remote diagnosis and troubleshooting at manufacturing sites. Data analysis and statistics skills are particularly importantAble to provide scientific and technical leadership across global functions and the businessCustomer focus and engagement: success in the role will depend on the ability to form strong relationships with manufacturing customersA high degree of autonomy is necessary, as the role might be geographically separated from the hiring manager and other team members. Able to work well in an international environmentDriver – is proactive, makes things happen and can ensure that supporting documentation is in place to support justificationsRecognized as a problem solver and source of practical and theoretical knowledgeProven track record of leading manufacturing projects and teamsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentBusiness travel to manufacturing sites to support production and support manufacturing is an essential element of this role.
