Job Description:About your roleWe are looking a production engineer for a permanent position in Espoo Weighing. Job description includes ensuring proper maintenance and future development of existing equipment and systems as well as introduction of modern new technology. Your area includes a wide range of equipment and systems running the hearth of Espoo production. You will work independently as well as part of multidisciplinary teams in projects and daily tasks.Please note that main working language is Finnish.Your key responsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Ensuring the smooth and safe operation of machines and equipment, as well as their technical development.
- Defining short and long-term production development measures related to safety, efficiency, and quality in cooperation with stakeholders.
- Implementing problem-solving and planning preventive measures in collaboration with internal and external parties.
- Managing the commissioning and changes of equipment, systems, and facilities within your area of responsibility, and acting as a technical expert in procurement projects of various scales.
- Documentation and instructions are also an essential part of your duties.

- Technical basic education (bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering) for example:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Process Engineering
- Electrical and Automation Engineering
- Excellent spoken and written proficiency in Finnish (Mandatory)
- Excellent spoken and written proficiency in English
- Willingness and ability to enhance expertise in one’s own area of responsibility
- Documentation skills and use of information systems
We are looking for a team player with good interpersonal skills, a meticulous work attitude, reasoning skills, and an innovative approach. The position requires decision-making and stress tolerance abilities. Experience in pharmaceutical engineering, development and maintenance of production machines, mechanical design skills, as well as knowledge of automation, instrumentation, and pneumatics, will be considered an advantage.How to apply and additional informationInterested in the position? We are also responsible for the industrialization of new products and product life cycle management.In Global Operations we have approximately 1,600 professionals working in Production, our external supplier network (Externally Sourced Operations) and Fermion Oy (API manufacturing and marketing). In addition, the organization includes Supply Chain & Procurement, Technical Operations, Facility Management, EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), CPD&LCM (Commercial Product Development & Product lifecycle management) and Operations Development.Technical Operations ensures that the equipment, facilities, and systems of key production operations meet the required quality, safety, and capacity requirements. Additionally, Technical Operations is responsible for the proper and efficient use of these resources in collaboration with production and other stakeholders.
