Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer who is looking to be a part of key projects, with a dynamic and progressive engineering company?Rockwell are seeking a lead mechanical project engineer to join an exciting mechanical engineering project initially based in the Dublin region, on a permanent & full-time basis.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate project schedules in conjunction with project team.
• Monitor project work progress.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Project engineering submissions and value engineering.
• Project procurement and materials management.
• Project build review and interaction with co-contractors.
• Designing and modelling in 3D using Autodesk 3D software.
• Evaluating final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety.
• Interacting and managing Clients, CMT, Suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging including walking down of P&ID’s, and layout drawings.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:

• Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building Services
• Knowledge and understanding of both HVAC and Piping Systems.
• Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems.
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience post qualification.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.
• Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
