We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our team of Valio people(based in Helsinki, HQ)Valio Sourcing & Procurement is a group function, responsible for strategic and tactical sourcing of materials & services for Valio group and its entities. We deliver our services for the whole Valio group in a cost-effective, business-oriented, and sustainable way.We are now looking for a result-oriented Sourcing Manager to join our Indirect Sourcing team. You will be taking responsibility and oversee the strategic sourcing of Marketing, communications and sales support category. As an example, sub-categories include e.g. media, marketing planning & production, marketing analytics, market & consumer research and communications.In your category you will be leading spend category’s strategy development, follow-up of our spend targets and overall development of your category. You will be working in close cooperation with cross-functional teams and our stakeholders throughout our group leading tendering and contract negotiations and supporting with sustainable sourcing decisions.This role plays a vital part in delivering value across Valio. • Sourcing Category Strategy: you will develop and implement sourcing category strategies and concrete plans that align with business objectives and deliver value for the organization
• Competitive and Resilient Supply: you will lead sourcing events, cost optimization initiatives, supplier selection, contract negotiations and market benchmarking. You will understand, monitor and mitigate risk exposure, leverage available technology and drive procurement digitalization in buying channels
• Stakeholder Collaboration: you will establish, manage and develop solid relationships with internal stakeholders and drive business alignment. In addition, you will foster collaboration and dialogue with peers in our Sourcing & Procurement team to accomplish joint goals
• Supplier Management: you will build and maintain a sustainable and reliable supplier base for assigned sub-categories, lead the evaluation, selection, and development of strategic and key suppliers to drive performance, and own and drive Supplier Relationship Management Programs for respective area
• Performance Monitoring: you will define and track category targets and supplier performance metrics to ensure the business value delivery

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in sourcing, marketing, supply chain, preferably in an industrial context
• Previous experience of sourcing in the field of marketing, communications, and professional services is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Resilient, flexible and proactive attitude
• Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to lead projects and stakeholders cross-functionally
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills to engage diverse stakeholder groups
• Fluent in both spoken and written Finnish and English, proficiency in other languages is considered an advantage
• Experience from sourcing and procurement tools; Sievo, Noventia, SAP -system especially appreciated
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Relevant degree (e.g. master or bachelor degree in economics, industrial engineering, sourcing, supply chain or related field)
