In this role, you will play a key part in eliminating potential production challenges, improving standard work and implementing advanced manufacturing techniques and digital solutions.This position will be based in Raisio, Finland.Main tasks and responsibilities● Maintain ERP system BOMs – routings and standard times● Coordinate implementation of engineering changes and the change processes● Define standard work and standard operating procedures, support team to create and update new SOPs● Work with value stream manager/leader to develop the support structure includinginformation flow and systems, and process reviews.Introduction of NPI process, provideinput on DFM/DFA, SOPs, ERP routing and standard times in conjunction with R&D and the NPI team● Ownership of line balancing so as to smooth the labour loading● Implement quality-related improvements in production (poka-yoke solutions, fixturing & tooling etc.)● Responsible for Cell design and line layout in line with the VSM and VSLs● Provide training on new methods to the value stream team● Assist with the rapid transition to an excellent visual production system for Hiab Operatingproduction systems● Implementing technical solutions for material handling, location of material around workstationsProductivity● Lead Kaizen events within the value stream as required, to include value stream mapping,line balancing.● Lead the training and implementation of lean manufacturing tools and concepts including6S, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance etc.● Bring creative lean manufacturing solutions to the value stream● Provide 6s technical solutions in conjunction with the 6s champions● Project manager for technical improvement projectsWhat you’ll need to succeed● Degree /BSc in Engineering related discipline or similar experience● Systems (ERP) knowledgeExperience● Strong experience from mechanical industry and assembly operations● Working knowledge LEAN principles (such as Six Sigma)● Data-analytical approach● Knowledge and awareness of modern manufacturing methods and tools● Engineering drawing tools (Computer Literacy, particularly in Google suite, experience in Microsoft Visio and Autocad/Solidworks/Pro-E(Creo).● LSS-Yellow belt/Green belt is in advantage● LN● Fluency in Finnish and EnglishYou will be part ofWe offer you a position in a global organisation where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
