Citi is looking for Placement Analysts to join the Investment Banking team in Stockholm for up to 6 months starting from July 2025. The Investment Banking group advises corporate clients who want to raise funds in capital markets and who need strategic support in financial transactions. Initiatives you may be working on with clients include mergers; acquisitions; divestitures; financial restructurings; underwriting; and distributing equity; debt; and derivative securities.We’re committed to teaching you the ropes.ResponsibilitiesCollect and analyze company information to assist transactions, including conducting industry research, revising and organizing financial dataAnalyze financial data and develop financial models including company valuations, discounted cash flow analysis, financing and comparative analysesCreate and finalize new business development presentationsCoordinate tasks with internal and external working teamsPrepare required internal documentation e.g. control and compliance regulationsQualificationsYou are in your final year of university/or graduatedExpected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in a degree disciplineInterest in businessStrong academicsYou are fluent in EnglishAdditional RequirementsDesire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industryIntellectual curiosity and proactive approach to searching for new and creative ideasStrong communication, planning, and organizational skillsCommitment to personal growth and career development including mobility and flexibility.You also have a strong desire to learn, are proactive, building rapport and relationships in team environmentsUnquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-makingWe will recruit on a rolling basis and therefore encourage you to apply as soon as possible.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
