Senior Accounting Manager — Treasury A unique opportunity to further develop Treasury accounting processes in a complex environmentAs a Senior Accounting Manager in Financial Reporting section of Group Accounting and Reporting (GAR), you will join an international team of highly skilled and motivated individuals who are responsible for preparing the Consolidated Financial Statements and ESG reporting for Telenor Group.The Financial Reporting team closely monitors the reporting from Telenor’s subsidiaries, provides support to local accounting teams with complex accounting and reporting matters, and is responsible for Group Treasury accounting. Some of your main responsibilities:Ensure that financial instruments within the Group Treasury unit are accurately valued, presented and disclosed in external reports.Properly document hedging relationships and ensure accurate hedge accounting.Close the books of the Group Treasury unit in a timely, accurate, and complete manner, including correct reporting in the consolidation system.Contribute to financial risk management discussions in the company, leveraging insights from Group Treasury reporting.Prepare and review note disclosures related to Treasury items in quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.Contribute with other Group related tasks, such as equity reconciliation.Develop and maintain Group-wide expertise in IFRS 9. Who are we looking for?As our new Senior Accounting Manager – Treasury, you should have a master’s degree in finance, accounting, auditing or a related field. We believe you have 3 to 7 years of experience working with Treasury-related topics, either at Group level or within an audit firm or similar organization.Interest in financial markets, knowledge and experience with IFRS 9 and IFRS 7, is also preferred. Our business language is English, therefore, strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Norwegian language skills are an added advantage. IT skills, including proficiency in consolidation system and Microsoft Office, are also preferred.
