Our ultimate mission is to serve as a catalyst for sustainable forestry practices and positive environmental change!Our company is now building an international sales team and we’re looking for an Account Manager to cover the Norwegian market. The role will involve business development and evaluation of new project potential to identify new partners and new carbon projects suitable for the Norwegian forests.What You’ll Do:🌳 Drive Market Expansion & Awareness: Spearhead the growth of our forestry carbon projects in Norway by identifying, engaging, and securing new landowners.🌳 Consult & Enable: Act as the trusted advisor to landowners, educating them on how they can participate in carbon sequestration and how our projects can maximize their earnings potential from carbon credits.🌳 Nurture Long-Term Relationships: Manage and grow relationships with existing landowners, ensuring their projects are successful and their experience with Ecobase is positive.🌳 Create Impactful Reporting: Assist in drafting carbon project documentation and generate detailed reports that keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.🌳 Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside our technical and product teams to incorporate feedback from clients into our offering.🌳Train & Support: Provide hands-on training to landowners to monitor forest inventory and ensure accurate data collection.What You Bring:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in building relationships, acquiring new business, and growing the market.
  • A solid foundation in forestry, including a deep understanding of forest management and the needs of landowners.
  • Experience working with GIS and CRM tools to manage data and optimize your workflow.
  • A proven track record of networking and connecting with the right people in the industry. You know how the Norwegian forestry market works and have the contacts to make things happen.
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, with the ability to prepare clear, compelling documentation and reports.
  • Drive to succeed and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Direct experience in carbon projects in forestry is a bonus, as is a forestry academic background.
