We’re looking for a confident, skilled, and motivated Accounting & Tax Manager to lead our financial compliance efforts and contribute to our continued success across the region of Northern Europe.Your roleThe Accounting and Tax Manager reports into the Country Finance Manager and is responsible for ensuring full compliance with local statutory, tax, and financial reporting requirements. You will lead and oversee our accounting operations (whether local, offshored, or outsourced), contributing directly to the financial health and strategic goals of our organization together with your team.What You’ll Be Responsible For✔ Financial Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure accurate, timely submission of financial statements (local GAAP/IFRS).
• Oversee monthly and yearly closing processes.
• Manage internal controls and external audit readiness.

✔ Tax Compliance & Regulatory Governance

• Lead accurate tax filings: VAT, corporate tax, payroll, and statutory obligations.
• Monitor changing tax laws and provide strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with global tax teams and advisors to ensure full compliance.

✔ Collaboration Across Teams

• Bridge the gap between local operations and global/outsourced finance teams.
• Ensure effective collaboration and quality output from shared service centers.
• Approve outsourced deliverables, driving operational excellence.

✔ Strategic Business Partnering

• Provide clear, proactive financial and tax guidance to local leadership.
• Represent the company in dealings with auditors and authorities.
• Translate complex regulations into actionable business insights.

✔ Cash Flow & Accounts Receivable

• Optimize cash flow and working capital through world-class AR management.
• Evaluate customer credit risk and support strategic sales decisions.
• Represent the region in global AR initiatives.

QualificationsWhat You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of experience in Accounting & Tax
• Proven experience working with offshored/outsourced service providers.
• Solid understanding of month-end/year-end close, financial statements, and tax compliance.
• Strong ERP skills (SAP preferred), Excel expertise, and analytical acumen.
• A proactive mindset, with accountability, structure, and a drive for results.
• People leader with a coaching mindset and a collaborative spirit
