In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering integrated admissions and marketing campaigns that drive student recruitment across our HNC, HND, and undergraduate degree programmes.Reporting directly to the College Principal, you will oversee the strategic direction and operational management of all admissions and marketing activities. You will also develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure an efficient, compliant, and student-centric admissions processKey Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and student recruitment strategies.
- Oversee the entire admissions process, ensuring compliance with UK HE regulations and internal quality standards.
- Use a data-driven approach to improve conversion rates and applicant engagement across domestic and international markets.
- Provide internal reporting, risk assessments, and compliance updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives — particularly digital and social — are aligned with the College`s brand and strategic goals.
- Manage the admissions and marketing team, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
Qualifications RequiredEssential Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Marketing or a relevant subject, with extensive experience in higher education student recruitment.
- A strong track record of working in a similar admissions and marketing leadership role within a UK HE institution (required).
- A professional qualification (e.g. CIM, CAM, IDM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly motivated, transparent, and results-oriented individual with a strong background in UK higher education admissions and marketing.You will have:
- Demonstrable leadership experience in managing student admissions and marketing in a UK HE institution.
- Proven ability to develop and implement data-informed marketing strategies that drive student recruitment.
- A sound understanding of compliance and risk management in student admissions.
- A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality applicant experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
- A broad understanding of a range of legislation which impacts on higher education admissions, recruitment and marketing, including UCAS, OfS, GDPR compliance etc.
