Wexford.Are you passionate about agriculture and committed to supporting farmers with expert advice and solutions?Our client is seeking an Agronomist to join their team, covering County Wexford. This role focuses on buildingstrong relationships with customers and delivering technical support and commercial solutions in the tillagesector.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow relationships with existing and potential tillage customers, working towards specific sales targets.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain debtor days in line with targets.
• Gather and maintain up-to-date information on all customers to support business decisions.
• Provide technical advice and insights on tillage practices and communicate the client’s technical offering effectively.
• Implement marketing plans and sales campaigns aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, particularly the branch network, ruminant specialists, and agronomy colleagues.

Key Requirements:

• A professional qualification in Agriculture or a related field.
• Broad knowledge across the agriculture sector, with a strong understanding of tillage operations.
• Commercial awareness and confidence in selling products and services.
• Proficiency in computer systems such as SAP, EPOS, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with customers.
• Resilience and adaptability in a competitive market environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A friendly, customer-focused attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
