About the RoleWe are seeking a talented and passionate AI Engineer to join our growing technology team in Dublin. You will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions that drive innovation and deliver real business value. A significant part of this role will involve developing intelligent agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio to support various departments across Ardmac, ensuring we maintain our competitive edge through cutting-edge AI implementations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the latest AI technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable AI and machine learning models for real-world applications.
- Develop and deploy intelligent agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio aligned with identified use cases across different Ardmac departments.
- Collaborate with 3rd parties and relevant stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
- Work closely with department heads to identify, prioritize, and implement AI automation opportunities.
- Preprocess, clean, and analyse large datasets to extract actionable insights.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain AI models in production environments.
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging AI tools, technologies, and market developments to ensure Ardmac maintains competitive advantage.
- Stay current with industry trends and provide strategic recommendations on AI adoption and implementation.
- Document processes, models, and code to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in technical discussions and team meetings.
- Present AI research findings and competitive analysis to leadership team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years’ experience in AI, machine learning, or data science roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Copilot Studio for building and deploying AI agents.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and optimisation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deploying ML models in production.
- Demonstrated ability to research and evaluate new AI technologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.).
- Experience with deep learning, NLP, or computer vision.
- Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices (Azure Machine Learning, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, etc.).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architectures.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
- Knowledge of enterprise AI governance and compliance requirements.
- Experience in competitive intelligence and technology trend analysis.
