We currently have a vacancy for an AI Governance and Policy Specialist fluent in English, to offer to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. • Conduct meticulous reviews and provide detailed commentary on policy design documents, including calls for evidence, terms of reference, and draft impact assessments;
• Offer consultancy to ensure alignment of policy initiatives with digital-ready standards;
• Actively participate in the development and delivery of training sessions and supporting materials to facilitate the swift adoption of upcoming policy proposals;
• Provide strategic advice on targeted policy and regulatory initiatives, with a focus on optimizing regulatory reporting processes and enhancing semantic consistency;
• Play a key role in the implementation of AI Governance, working closely with stakeholders to support effective execution;
• Ensure consistent, detailed reporting to the project office to promote transparency, track progress, and support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least one year of experience in regulatory compliance;
• Experience in using industry-standard tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel);
• Experience in regulatory reporting frameworks and their implementation;
• Experience in conducting stakeholder consultations and facilitating dialogue between technical and policy experts;
• Experience in working with AI and other emerging technologies;
• Excellent knowledge of AI systems and the regulatory implications for compliance;
• Experience with data governance and management in regulatory settings would be an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language, while fluency in French B2 would be an asset.
