Accomplish work on aircraft, aircraft systems and accessories in accordance with the relevant aircraft technical manuals and instructions
Carry out routine tasks/checks and rectify defects on the flight line and in the hangar
Ensure work is carried out following aircraft manufacturer’s procedures and maintenance practices
Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards laid out in the Cargolux Maintenance Manual Exposition (MME)
Signing off work using correct and approved documentation
Essential Requirements For The Position:
Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on aircraft mechanics
Be holder of an EASA AML B1 and/or B2 license
Experience in 747-400 aircraft maintenance or 747-8 aircraft maintenance will be considered as an advantage
Between 1 and 3 years experience acquired in the field (after the apprenticeship/basic training)
Being open-minded and relating comfortably with diverse groups of people
Be fluent in English, other languages are considered as an advantage
Ability to work in team as well as independently
Have good, standard knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook
Working Conditions:
Position based in Luxembourg
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
Be prepared to travel when required
Willing to work on shifts 24/7/365
Possess a valid driving license
