Solution Architect – Cloud & Enterprise ITLocation: Luxembourg (On-site)Duration: 6 months (possible extension)Languages: English (Fluent); other European languages are a plusEU Citizenship RequiredAbout the RoleAs a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing enterprise and cloud architectures that support business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency. You will work closely with customers, IT teams, and engineering experts to develop cloud-first and hybrid solutions, leveraging major cloud providers and on-premise technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise & Cloud Architecture Development

• Design and implement comprehensive IT architectures integrating AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premise systems.
• Define scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions for enterprise applications, infrastructure, and integration frameworks.

Customer Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and translating them into tailored technical solutions.
• Provide guidance on cloud adoption, migration strategies, and infrastructure modernization.
• Lead discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.

Application & Integration Design

• Architect microservices, containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes), API management solutions, and messaging platforms.
• Define and implement enterprise integration strategies ensuring seamless connectivity across platforms.

Solution Implementation & Troubleshooting

• Oversee the implementation and deployment of enterprise solutions, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues related to cloud and enterprise technologies.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure IT architecture aligns with industry best practices and regulatory frameworks.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in enterprise IT and cloud technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in solution architecture or senior technical roles covering cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, storage, and virtualization.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on expertise in Java application servers (WebLogic or similar).
• Solid experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

• Certifications in VMware, Linux, or cloud technologies.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies.
• Knowledge of enterprise application integration and storage technologies.
