Join the forefront of power market development with Nord Pool Group! We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Analyst to join our Market Integration Development team, working at the very heart of the evolving European electricity markets.About the RoleWithin the Market Integration Development Team, you will play a crucial role in making sure that the market auctions run smoothly by taking part in the algorithm design and testing its capabilities.As an Analyst, you will:Develop and Test: Implement, configure, and test market integration algorithms and systems that enable efficient coupling of European electricity markets.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Strengthen Nord Pool’s influence by actively participating in external project bodies and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.Define Requirements: Gather information and data, identify key parameters, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.Prototype and Innovate: Design and implement mathematical prototypes to test new ideas and products.Ensure Quality: Contribute to effective testing methods, environments, and the software release process.Follow: Trends in data analysis, applied mathematics, and market development.About YouWe are looking for someone who has experience in/knowledge of most of the followingApplied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.Programming, especially Python (a strong asset).Database management (preferably with PL/SQL).Quantitative analysis.Energy sector and/or commodity markets.Agile development practices, including implementation, quality assurance, and release management.Tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT.Fluency in English is a must.API integrations (e.g. JSON, XML).We also value:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured and logical approach to tackling challenges.A proactive, collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.What We OfferExcellent working conditions, possibility to work remotely.Opportunities for personal and professional development.A flat organizational structure and a dynamic, fast-growing company with an international impact.An attractive salary package, including a base salary and performance bonuses.Location
