This position will be responsible for actively supporting the Nordic Consumer and Merchant business to adhere compliance with our third party life cycle management policy, (AEMP10).
AEMP 10 is our standard policy that defines what is required to ensure accurate selection process and management of third-party suppliers throughout their evolvement, from pre-contract to post-contract phases.What you will be up to:
- Ensure risks related to third parties are handled in line with regulatory & American Express expectations (AEMP 10-policy, among others).
- Collaborate with our internal teams and partners to ensure that policy timelines are met and Control & Compliance expectations are supervised.
- Drive long-lasting risk management through data and trend analysis, highlighting opportunities and championing change initiatives to reduce risk and improve controls.
- Manage third-party documentation and contracts, ensuring a high quality of demanding information.
- Schedule, implement and document critical meeting minutes for collaborators including information security calls and gap remediation calls.
- Prepare presentations and communicate status updates at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Raise awareness and educating business teams and Third-Party Risk and Relationships Managers (TRMs) on various requirements on TLM program.
- Support in ad-hoc projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluent English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with demonstrated presentation skills.
- Experience working with operational risk, compliance, and/or control functions.
- Knowledge of issuer or/and acquiring products and processes.
- Understanding of the Legal Entity framework.
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.
