Come join the Resurs journey!Get an idea of the roleYou will join the Core Banking Platform team as an Application Architect with focus on API and integration. Bringing strong expertise in application architecture, API design, and data modeling, preferably within the financial sector. In this role, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of designing the API architecture that connects our composable core platform with external systems such as Mambu.Your work will be closely tied to application development, with significant influence on how we design and expose RESTful services in a modern, modular banking environment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with developers, domain architects, and enterprise architects to ensure that the architecture supports both short-term business needs as well as long-term strategic goals.In addition, the role involves:

• Working hands-on with backend development in close collaboration with engineers, not just high-level architecture

• Leveraging technologies like PostgreSQL and cloud-native platforms such as Mambu as part of the core technology stack

• Taking ownership of architectural improvements and actively promoting best practices across teams

• Combining deep technical knowledge with strategic architectural thinking, from designing data models to scalable backend services

• Contributing to a team culture that values openness, continuous learning, innovation, and shared ownership

• Hands-on API and microservice development, preferably using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger, and OpenAPI.

• Solid database knowledge, ideally with PostgreSQL.

• A strong backend development foundation, combined with architectural experience in designing scalable systems.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in backend development and architecture, ideally with exposure to banking or financial services. Experience with platforms like Mambu is a strong advantage.

• Good communication skills in English and Swedish.
