You will take lead on defining the requirements to the bearings, specifying and supervising key test and validation activities and participate in ensuring the bearing integrity from a functional, operational, and maintenance perspective.This is your chance to take a central place in driving the engineering solutions for the green energy transition as we are looking for an application engineer for the roller main bearings. You will be part of our Bearing team within the Nacelle Technology department where new products and technologies are designed, developed, matured, and tested.How You’ll Make an Impact

• Take lead on integrating main bearings into new turbine designs, taking into account the full product lifecycle.
• Responsibility for the specifications for the main bearings.
• Responsibility for the risk / DFMEA overview for main bearings.
• Drive technical reviews with the internal design team and external partners.
• Drive test and validation activities and take lead on setting up and supervising test rigs.
• Engage in inspection and fixing activities both on test assemblies, in prototyping environment, and on-site.
• Ensure collaboration and close dialogue with suppliers and solution providers.

• A strong technical attitude with a hands-on approach.
• Curiosity towards finding better/smarter ways of working.
• Working methodically and keeping track of what has been done throughout a development project while keeping an agile approach.
• The ability to work in a team environment that demands alignment and cooperation.
• Motivation by making things happen and taking pride in keeping people informed and updated on progress.
• Proficient English, both written and spoken
