Come join the Inpeco team and innovate with us!PositionThe Application Service Specialist is responsible for the technical support of direct clients and distributors for our Software products and also in charge of on-site activities, such as onsite support, maintenance, installations, upgrades, add-on; internal and external trainings. The position also requires travelling globally to support key clients and partners.In details the Application Service Specialist – Middleware and Networking will have the following main responsibilities: taking part in the installation, configuration, testing and routine start-up of Total Testing Process solutions and Anatomic Pathology products, focusing on Software components; providing remote and onsite technical support to direct clients and partners; tracing and handling customers complaints from opening to resolution;delivering dedicated technical / application training to internal and external subjects; supporting the Training Center in the production and update of the technical documentation; providing hotline during working hours and on-call standby service during after work and night hours for Software related matters; carrying out periodic analyses of the performance and workflow of installed systems.RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar education path. Alternatively, Diploma in ICT matters together with a strong experience as a Service Engineer will be also taken in consideration.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry on any kind of automation as a software expert is a plus.
  • Experience in log analysis and troubleshooting of Firmware / Hardware is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and MySQL.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to understand problems and lead to solutions.
  • Full proficiency in Italian and English. Any other language is a plus.
  • The ability to think out of the box, challenge the status quo and come with concrete and pragmatic proposals.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to interact with different cultures and users.
  • Strong organizational skills: able to work independently, effectively handling multiple priorities and delivering in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Availability to travel 70-80% of the time.
