Join a fresh and collaborative working environment that encourages contribution, innovation, and growth, in the role of Application Specialist Imaging & Flow Cytometry.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be the local (Nordics) expert on our Imaging portfolio (Spatial Multiplex Imaging and Lightsheet Microscopy), with secondary focus on the Flow Cytometry portfolio (including Cell Sorting). As our key customer-facing contact, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing instrument and consumables sales opportunities in Stockholm and the northern territories. With your scientific expertise and ability to build strong relationships, you will have the unique opportunity to apply your passion for Imaging and Flow Cytometry in a dynamic sales environment and make a direct impact on business revenue. With your local market insights and established connections in the area, you will network to explore new business opportunities with focus on:

• Identifying and nurturing Imaging and Flow Cytometry instruments and consumables opportunities in the Academia and Biotec sectors, to ultimately achieve sales targets
• Lead customer focused, application-based support like product demonstrations, seminars, training, installations, troubleshooting
• Take ownership of Miltenyi’s Imaging and Flow Cytometry awareness and community building activities (such as trade shows and other events) in the region
• Support the Sales & Marketing team with actionable insights to grow the reagents and instruments business in the Nordics
• Contribute to team projects in a high trust environment
• Contribute to the company culture of entrepreneurial spirit, innovative mindset and pragmatic problem solving

Qualifications

• You have a PhD degree in Cell Biology or a strong background in stem cells, oncology, immunology, hematology or related fields.
• Extensive practical experience with Imaging and preferably Spacial Biology. Experience with Flow Cytometry is a strong merit.
• Being business driven comes naturally to you
• Ideally based in Stockholm or Uppsala with ability to travel as required
• Valid work permit & driver’s license
• You have strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Persuasively communicating and presenting ideas are your strong suit and you love talking to people. You convince with a high level of positive energy and you are a team player, open-minded, curious, confident, enthusiastic and result-oriented
