As a database developer, you will be working with our extensive range of cloud-based databases and data structures. The systems include various fit for purpose database technologies and handles data in all categories from ERP/financial to big data global vessel tracking services where ERP/financial will be the main responsibility.As a database developer in NAVTOR, you will be joining an international team of highly talented people with passionate interest in software design. What You’ll be doing:Architectural design for NAVTORs databases and data modelsDevelopment and maintenance of ERP and BackOffice databasesSoftware development as part of a SCRUM team following agreed work backlogsResearch into new technologies that might benefit NAVTORs customersParticipation on technical conferences, seminars and training sessionsParticipate in continuous process redesign to build a high performing culture What we’re looking for:5-7+ year experience with database development in MS SQL ServerStrong passion for database design and developmentExperience with building and optimizing relational databasesWell experienced with design, development and maintenance of MS SQL Server databasesWell experienced with stored procedures as business layerWell experienced with SQL query optimization, views, indexes, profilingExperience with other database technologies is a plusBasic programming of C#, .NET Core is a plusWell traversed in SCRUM and DevOps based workflowsDedicated adherence to project goals and deadlinesAbility to work well with the team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and structural skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyCurious about technology and a fast learnerSpeak and write English fluently Education * Relevant education at university level or equivalent
