The OpportunityWe are looking for a Country Sales Manager — Norway to lead and develop our commercial agenda across one of Maersk’s strategically important markets in the Nordics. This critical leadership role is responsible for delivering strong sales performance aligned with area targets, driving both Ocean and Logistics growth, and building a high-performing sales team. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver volume, revenue, and profit targets in line with Area budgetsSet clear direction for the sales team; lead with accountability and purposeExpand non-ocean activities, including supply chain and local logistics productsDefine and drive sales incentive targets in collaboration with Sales FBPActively monitor and improve local Net Promoter Score (NPS)Engage with internal and external stakeholders across country, area, regional and global levelsChampion transformation initiatives aligned with company strategyFoster best practice sharing and cross-functional collaborationProvide structured business input to Area leadership on behalf of the countryBuild, coach, and retain a best-in-class sales team with clear succession planningDrive local employee engagement and lead by example
Who We Are Looking For8–10 years of experience in transportation & logistics or commercial roles, including at least 6 years in leadershipProven strategic thinker with strong leadership and commercial skillsDemonstrated ability to develop and grow customer relationships across productsSkilled in sales management, negotiation, and team developmentStrong understanding of local business dynamics and customer needsFluent in English and Norwegian (preferred)
