We develop, manufacture, and market robots with associated control systems, software, arc welding products, track motions, and motor packages. In Norway, ABB Robotics works closely with the manufacturing, automotive, and general industries to support automation solutions that drive efficiency, sustainability, and profitability. Welding, machine service, material handling, grinding, packaging, and assembly are among the common applications.In this role, you will drive profitable sales growth and be responsible for driving sales on the Norwegian market, you will be located in Fornebu but travel to customers all over Norway. You will develop strategic collaborations and relationships with both Norwegian manufacturing industries, and current partners but also building up a partner network. Aiming to make global industry more efficient, sustainable, and profitable.Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales to all customers in the region while managing designated local Key Accounts.
- Developing 5-year Strategic Growth Plans targeting partners and system integrators.
- Representing ABB’s full portfolio, including robots, robot accessories, function packages, robot cells, full turn-key solutions from global solution centers, and customer services.
- Reporting to the Local Business Line Manager for Industry Sweden
- Operating out of ABB’s Fornebu office with flexibility to travel within Norway as needed.
Qualifications for the roleWe are looking for a driven individual with a talent for building relationships, strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering results. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and has excellent communication skills.Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in robot automation.
- 5+ years of commercial experience in system sales.
- Proven track record in sales and relationship building with industrial customers in Norway.
- Strong customer orientation and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic growth plans.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English is required.
- Willingness to travel within Norway.
