Description Lyrate Estate Hotel, set on the doorstep of Kilkenny City, just one hour from Dublin, Lyrath Convention Centre is home to a stunning ballroom and boardrooms. The Convention Centre the largest outside Dublin has its own private entrance and 420 complimentary car parking spaces. Lyrath can accommodate up to 1,500 delegates theatre style and cater up to 850 guests for gala dinners. Home to twelve flexible meeting suites to cater for all requirements.This is a hands-on role with the successful applicant required to be on the floor managing the events from beginning to end.What are we looking for:

• An experienced individual who has a proven track record in managing large events in a busy conference centre or hotel that caters to large weddings and conferences
• An excellent people manager who is capable of managing a large team to ensure sufficient preparation and service
• A team player who is always willing to assist with functions but also in other areas of the hotel as required
• A person who is highly motivated and is driven by a passion for providing excellent customer service
