Lyrath Estate boasts a 17th Century Estate House and sits alongside a modern-day extension, demonstrating a triumphant marriage of old and new. The hotel has 141 bedrooms, Oasis Spa and the largest convention centre in the Southeast of Ireland. The Convention Centre can hold up to 1500 guests for conferencing and up to 800 guests for banquets.We now have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as our Assistant Front Office ManagerPosition Overview
In this role, you will support the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service to grow within a thriving hotel environment.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the Front Office team, including Reception, Concierge, and Guest Services.
• Ensure the guests always experience our five-star service
• Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Support the Front Office Manager in scheduling, training, and evaluating team members.
• Welcome and check in all guests with the minimum of delay and with the highest level of hospitality extended.
• Ensure all cash and credit card transactions are recorded correctly and that the daily cash for the Front Desk is recorded accurately in line with hotel procedures.
• Ensure all guests are checked out with minimum of delay and that any complaints / queries are actioned immediately or passed to the relevant department
• Maintain high standards of guest servi
