Barden are delighted to be assisting a specialist M&A boutique to identify an Associate Director to join their team.ABOUT THE ROLE
Assist portfolio companies in executing their growth strategies by analysing and documenting financial performance;
Conduct comprehensive industry and company research, analyzing trading performance and key sector trends using online tools and publicly available data.
Research relevant accounting and legal issues to assess their potential impact on transaction valuation and deal structuring.
Draft and negotiate investment term sheets and related legal documentation.
Utilise a strong understanding of key business drivers to analyze and interpret historical and projected financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), identifying trends and fluctuations that could influence funding needs, valuation, and investment decisions.
Monitor portfolio performance post-investment by comparing actual results with budgeted forecasts and collaborating with the Board to implement key strategic initiatives.
ABOUT THE PERSON
Qualified ACA or CFA professional;
Must have 2-4 years post qualified experience;
Previous exposure to deals process;
Highly analytical, with a natural numerical aptitude
Strong commercial acumen;
Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Motivated self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team.
