Worldwide Achilles Systems employs more than 700 people, where of 35 are in Norway. Annual revenue in Norway is approximately NOK 90 million. Achilles is planning for an increase in market share in the Norwegian oil, offshore, and energy business expecting a large growth in a number of projects within auditing.Our auditors help companies mitigate supply-chain risk!To meet the increased activity Achilles is now looking to expand the staff with a new auditor in Stavanger.The new auditor will be responsible for supporting the Buyer customers and Communities to mitigate supply-chain risk through the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective Remote and on-site audits. Working within the supply chain of our core sectors: Natural resources, Industrials & Infrastructure, you will audit industry-specific protocols, covering a combination of quality, health and safety, and environmental and CSR/Sustainability management systems.Responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled Remote and On-Site audits to meet chargeability targets in line with Community requirements
- Create detailed audit reports to the agreed quality requirements
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the various schemes, while ensuring that they conform to the framework of corporate standards and procedures
- Provide added value to customers through advice, guidance, and insight
- Ensure verification of Supply Chain information on behalf of the buying communities to enable a risk-based approach to procurement decisions
- Driving continual improvement through the supply chain through the identification of non-conformances or deviations from industry best practice
QualificationsRelevant candidates preferably hold a university degree in science, health and safety, or equivalent. Relevant experience will compensate for formal education. In addition, you should hold:
- Lead quality auditor via examination
- A HSEQ professional qualification through internationally recognized bodies
- Environmental Awareness Certificate provided by a recognized provider such as IEMA, CIEH, etc…
- Memberships of relevant professional institutions such as IEMA, IOSH, IIRSM, or similar
- Working knowledge of the relevant industry sector, including understanding how contracts and projects are discharged.
- A working knowledge of health and safety, environmental, CSR, and quality management systems.
- Experience in auditing preferred but not required
Personal competencies
- Customer-focused and service-oriented.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels from managing directors to frontline operatives.
- A team player capable of meeting high customer expectations.
- Working without supervision.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English required, additional languages beneficial
- Fully mobile and flexible.
