About the positionWe are looking for an experienced Azure Security Engineer to take a leading role in securing our cloud infrastructure and driving forward our cloud security strategy. You will be instrumental in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing preventive measures, and strengthening our security posture across the organization.Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, implement, and maintain a secure Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and manage Azure security solutions
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, addressing identified risks and remediating security gaps.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor security logs, alerts, and respond swiftly to security incidents.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Provide security recommendations and guidance for cloud architecture designs.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats and Azure security advancements.
• Document security configurations and incident response processes.

About YouYou are a proactive and detail-oriented security professional with a deep understanding of Azure cloud services. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering secure, scalable solutions while working collaboratively across teams. We expect that you have:

• A master’s degree in information security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud security.
• Proficiency with Azure security services including Azure Security Center, Sentinel, Active Directory, Firewall, and Defender.
• Proficient in scripting and automation principles
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate), CISSP, CCSP, or similar are strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

It’s a plus if you also bring:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
• Prior experience with incident management and response strategies.
