/ Position: B1.3 Licensed Engineer
/ Location: Redhill
/ Working Hours: 5/5/4 Shift Pattern on a Rostered BasisThe B1.3 licenced line engineer position will support Gama’s HEMS operation at Redhill. The role will be focused on maintaining the AW169 helicopter to maximise availability rates at our Redhill line station.Working a 554-shift pattern, the successful candidate will provide engineering assistance for the three AW169 aircraft operating at Redhill, encompassing both scheduled maintenance and AOG recovery./ About us:

  • Completion of all paperwork and documentation;
  • The issuing of all approved materials to the work via the Company’s computer system (Corridor);
  • All work is completed using approved tools and ground support equipment;
  • All work is completed in a safe and appropriate manner considering risk to personnel, property and reputation;
  • The working environment is approved and appropriate to the task being undertaken;
  • All tooling is accounted for prior to return to service;
  • All post maintenance actions have been completed;
  • Completion of maintenance detailed in the Maintenance Status Report;
  • Reporting defects to the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department;
  • Reporting issues regarding Health and Safety or Flight Safety, via the Company’s reporting system (iQSMS);
  • Engineering additional duties as directed by the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
  • Adherence of company procedures to evidence compliance for internal and CAA audit purposes.

/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:Essential

  • An EASA or UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence
  • A strong maintenance related technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • A good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors
  • The ability to take responsibility and ownership of tasks
  • The ability to understand the requirement of clear, unambiguous communication
  • Familiarity with OEM appropriate to helicopter type
  • The ability to work alone and the willingness to travel in support of Gama’s other HEMS line stations should the need arise.
  • A full UK drivers licence.
