If this resonates to you, keep reading and do not miss the opportunity to join our international S-mobile team!Backend EngineerAs a Backend Engineer of S-mobile you will be developing the features and functionalities of S-mobile app. We work in agile teams, and you will do close co-operation with business stakeholders, designers, developers and QA engineers. Our S-mobile app is developed with Swift, Kotlin and Java Spring Boot, and we use AWS. More than 2M users have downloaded and activated the application, which means that we pay extra attention to reliability, security and quality of the app.We are looking for a Backend Engineer who loves to deliver high-quality mobile apps. With your experience in cloud native applications and infrastructure, you will be developing hands-on our backend solutions and support other developers in your squad and in the whole S-mobile team. Your daily tasks include securing the technical feasibility of our solutions right from the planning phase until the deployment. The role and responsibilities can scale with your experience and talent. You don’t have to meet all our bullet points, but if you do, we do have more demanding opportunities available.We hope that you have previous experience with the following technologies: Java Spring Boot and AWS. Ideally, you have previous experience working as part of a cross-functional team. You communicate clearly and value co-operation and good team spirit. You get along well with different people. You have the ability to manage complex integrations, learn new technologies and adapt to new working models quickly.We work in a hybrid setting.
