Key partners in this initiative are The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability’s (DTU Biosustain) Biofoundry and the University of Tartu.For the DigiBio project, we at DTU Biosustain Biofoundry are seeking a bioinformatics software engineer to develop pipelines, databases, and analytics platforms for data-driven strain design. Similar projects include pankb.org, imodulondb.org, prochipdb.org, aledb.org, bigg.ucsd.edu, and escher.github.io. By joining us, you will advance the integration of synthetic biology and digital technologies, accelerating the Design-Build-Test-Learn (DBTL) cycle to drive next-generation bioengineering solutions in line with the DigiBio project’s goals.As a bioinformatics software engineer in DTU Biosustain’s Biofoundry, you will contribute to cutting-edge research toward innovations in real-world applications. You will join the DTU Biosustain’s Reconstruction Team, led by Patrick Phaneuf and directed by Prof. Bernhard Palsson and Prof. Lars Nielsen. You will work closely with skilled scientists and subject matter experts to help them translate needs into possible software solutions. Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
