About the role

As a Business Analyst in the Capital Development team, you’ll bridge the gap between Business and IT. Your responsibilities include analyzing current solutions, contributing to their enhancement, implementing new tools, and translating business needs into technical solutions. You’ll play a key role in changing processes, applications, and dataflows within the Capital Development value stream. Engaging with stakeholders, addressing challenges, and communicating ideas clearly are integral aspects of your role. With a focus on efficiency and a passion for the subject matter, you’ll independently drive change and development activities, supported by your colleagues and manager. We expect you to also understand the fundamentals of financials to support the business side in the best way possible.

Work tasks

-Coordinate with the technology team to translate business requirements into technical solutions
-Communicate with stakeholders to understand and address their needs and expectations
-Set up a new analysis tool using Power BI for capital data analysis
-Collaborate in building the solution, including data sourcing through calculation engine to Snowflake
-Continuously develop and enhance processes and methodologies to maximize efficiency and outcomes
-Lead and manage projects within the capital development team

We are looking for

-Degree in Computer science/Information technology or related field
-Fluent English, Finnish is considered as an advantage
-Minimum 2 years of prior experience working as a Business Analyst
-Experience in working with SQL and Power BI
-Experience in working with agile methodologies
-Experience in handling large volumes of data and effectively organizing data to ensure user comprehension

-Experience from working with Capital risk and within the banking sector
