We are looking for a Business Controller to join our team in Stockholm. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor in management reporting and analysis while driving efficiency through automation. This role blends both business controlling and financial controlling, meaning you will work not only with accurate financial reporting but also with financial analysis, process improvements, and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to ensure financial and operational success.At NOBA, we foster a collaborative and open culture where new ideas are encouraged, and continuous improvement is a priority. The Business Control team, consisting of 8 people in Sweden and Norway, is highly skilled, ambitious, and focused on finding smarter ways of working.You will report to the Head of Business Control, who leads with trust, transparency, and a strong focus on professional development.Main tasks:

• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance, cost efficiency, and profitability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with stakeholders to gather insights, requirements, and feedback related to financial performance, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor business performance and track progress against targets. Provide regular reports to stakeholders, including management and shareholders.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets in collaboration with other departments. Monitor and report on budget variances.
• Finance Data Hub: Be in the centre of many of NOBAs most important projects providing financial data and analysis.
• Process Efficiency and Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and increase efficiency through automation. Develop tools, templates, and standardized routines to automate tasks like financial reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal management reports.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Has at least five years of experience in business and financial controlling.
• Has experience in banking, finance, or credit market companies.
• Has experience working with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Is fluent in Swedish or Norwegian and English.

It’s a plus if you:

• Have experience in process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Have worked with ERP implementations or financial system upgrades.
