Enginzyme is a one of a kind Biomanufacturing company providing a full-stack technology platform ranging from enzyme engineering, to proprietary enzyme immobilization and process engineering. We are looking to grow our commercial team with a talent able to lead our business development activities by bringing our services and certain turnkey solutions to targeted personal care and food companies, starting with a EMEA scope.The candidate shall be based in the European Union, with a proven capacity at finding, building and managing business relationships with a significant technical content.Our company is known but not established, our solutions are innovative. We have enjoyed our first commercial successes but need to generate more. The ideal candidate will have to define the path to success, often by starting with complex engagements with innovation communities before accompanying the project(s) to deployment at industrial scale with process engineering teams.The candidate will be supported in his/her engagements by the commercial leadership and our
20 R&D taskforce. Independence in the day to day, proactivity and ambitions in the business drive, collaborative mindset in the ways of working will be critical factors of success.Enginzyme offers the opportunity to join a growing company, with mission, with impact, in the exciting field of biotechnology. The position will allow engagements and direct collaboration with C-suite stakeholders across various touchpoints (customers and prospects, board and investors, biotech communities).We are a people-driven and forward-looking team of more than 20 nationalities, highly respectful of the individuals. We expect the same from the candidate.

  • Business Hunting mindset
  • With a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated ability to get a complex business growing
  • Strong ownership of the situations and ability to make things happen
  • Pre-existing successful experience at finding and selling new business based on enzymes, biomanufacturing solutions and/or specialty ingredients in personal care and/or food applications, is mandatory
  • Eager to join a company building its commercial path
  • The position requires solid project and stakeholders’ management skills
  • Fluent in English + one other language
  • Passionate about new business ventures and life sciences
  • Ability to travel 1/3 of the time
