Job Title: Buyer – Bids & Construction Projects (Scandinavia Region)
Location: Scandinavia Region
Client: EWI RecruitmentAbout the Role: EWI Recruitment is partnering with a leading construction client in the Scandinavia region, seeking a Buyer to support key bids and ongoing construction projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and junior buyers to develop their careers within a dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for managing the purchasing process, working closely with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, and supporting successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in procurement for construction projects across Scandinavia, from tendering to project completion.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate and compare tender submissions to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain accurate records.
• Support bid teams with cost estimates and procurement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Basic experience in pricing, tendering, or negotiating with suppliers/subcontractors (junior buyers welcome!).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with construction procurement processes is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Scandinavian languages is an advantage.
