The selected candidate will be responsible for the following task area:
- Sources and selects high-quality images to ensure cover illustrations and photos meet client standards and project deadlines.
- Coordinates the approval process between the publisher and relevant departments to streamline product development.
- Manages image rights, including licensing, usage terms, and compliance.
- Negotiates fees with photographers, agencies, and image providers.
- Tracks budget allocations, monitors costs, and reviews invoices.
- Plans and organizes author photoshoots, handling logistics and creative direction.
Enthusiastic about visual artTemp-to-hire modelIn order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:
- Successfully completed academic degree.
- Several years of professional experience in, An advertising or artist agency, A photo studio, ideally as an assistant to an art buyer, an independent art buyer, or head of art buying within an agency.
- Business proficiency in German and English.
- Strong visual competence and aesthetic sensitivity.
- Design knowledge and a good eye for composition.
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure.
- Reliable and competent personality with sufficient experience and international contacts to work independently.
