Software Engineering Specialist in Network Planning and OptimizationWhat You’ll Do: As a Software Engineering Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of applying best practices in software engineering to the dynamic field of network planning, scheduling, and optimization. You’ll craft innovative tools to address challenges related to our fleet, ground services, and network during travel disruptions. Your work will directly impact operations, whether it’s through developing a flight schedule management tool or identifying new opportunities for network expansion at major international hubs. KeyResponsibilities:

• Develop and maintain advanced tools for operational planning and crisis management.
• Utilize the latest technologies in big data, distributed computing, machine learning, and operations research.
• Mentor data scientists and instill software engineering best practices, including CI/CD and API design.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design system architecture and make strategic technology decisions.
• Dedicate time to personal growth, research, and innovative projects to stay ahead in the field.

• Expertise in developing APIs and understanding REST API best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and automated testing.
• Experience in deploying models to production and aiding data scientists in code industrialization.
