The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for a CAD Drafter to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway’s technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.This is a great opportunity to work for a significant construction company, working alongside some of the most experienced specialists in the industry to continue developing and further you career.Job Role / Responsibilities

• Prepare Technical Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on engineering specifications and design concepts using CAD and BIM software.
• Review Design Plans: Analyze architectural or engineering sketches, diagrams, and models to create accurate and detailed drawings.
• Update and Revise Drawings: Modify drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or clients, ensuring all changes comply with project specifications.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand design requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings.
• Maintain Project Documentation: Organize and maintain accurate records of designs, revisions, and documentation for future reference.
• Assist in Design Development: Support the design team by providing technical insights and contributing to the development of conceptual designs.
• Coordinate with Construction Teams: Liaise with construction and manufacturing teams to ensure that drawings are properly understood and executed on-site.
• Prepare As-Built Drawings: Create as-built drawings to reflect the final structure, after construction or manufacturing is completed.
• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously update knowledge on new CAD tools, industry trends, and technical standards.

ProjectThe infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 3 years.Requirements

• Proven experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.). Novapoint is a plus.
• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of construction and manufacturing processes is a plus.
