EXPRESSION OF INTERESTThe vaccination team are currently planning for the Autumn/Winter Vaccination Programme which commences in September.It is anticipated that they will require several additional Nurse Vaccinators to help with this programme,Their team is based in a Primary Care Centre and the clinics will all be based across the Dublin South West and City Centre region.
- The service is Monday – Friday with very minimal weekend work available (if any).
- Shift times will mostly be 10am – 4pm / 9:30am – 4:30pm.
- The successful candidates will be expected to work across different locations daily, e.g. long-term care facilities, nursing homes, schools, community clinics, acute hospitals etc.
- Previous vaccinating experience essential for this role
- The service administers all vaccines.
- They will be starting the Autumn booster shortly for Covid 19 as well as Flu vaccines, LAIV, school immunisations. They administer all Primary Vaccinations ( 6 in 1,4 in 1, PCV, Men B, Rotavirus, MMR, Men C , Chickenpox, Mpox etc.)
- Any additional information or training will be advised by the clinical leads at a later stage.
Successful candidates must:
- be able to drive (Vaccinators should have their own mode of transport as they will be responsible for getting to their place of work each day)
- have a knowledge of the vaccination programme.
- have vaccinated previously and have all relevant training in date on your Nurse on call staff file prior to referral.
