Job description
Hartley People Recruitment are currently seeking Casual General Operatives to join the team at one of the world’s leading global nutrition providers, based in Fonthill. Successful candidates will be offered work on a casual basis, depending on weekly operational requirements. Working hours will vary, as the Depot operates on a day shift from Monday to Sunday. A minimum of one shift per week will be guaranteed.Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to food safety standards and ensure Critical Control Points (CCPs) are completed and followed in all work locations.
- Comply with all Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of plant hygiene in the assigned work area.
- Complete Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) processes as required.
- Ensure proper documentation control where applicable.
- Match the speed of picking with production flow to meet targets efficiently.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a factory or food production environment is an advantage.
- Experience with voice picking and manual handling is desirable.
