Therefore, the appointable candidate will need to be eligible to work in the UK or have leave to remain in the UK and associated right to work for the duration of their employment with the University, in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.Part time, PermanentApplications are invited for the part time post of Catholic Chaplain working within the Directorate of Student Life at Royal Holloway University of London.It is an occupational requirement that the appointee is a practising Catholic.The role is a part time position with the Chaplain required to work 14 hours per week during the 30 weeks of term plus an additional 14 hours per week for 4 weeks outside of term time.The University wishes to appoint a part-time Roman Catholic Chaplain, either an ordained priest / deacon or a Catholic lay chaplain, who meets the requirements of the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton and the University. The Catholic Chaplain will join our Multifaith Chaplaincy team, working with our Anglican and Muslim Chaplains, other faith groups and student faith societies to benefit student and staff life on campus.We are seeking someone to help develop Catholic faith and worship on campus, to offer pastoral care, to be a strong, visible presence on campus and to build and foster healthy community through outreach activity.The University is strengthened by our diverse, multi-cultural community and the incumbent will embrace and enjoy the opportunities this brings.
