If yes, then this is the perfect opportunity for you, where you will be part of a team, committed to driving process improvements and capacity increase in CMC API Pilots.The positionAs our Chemical Engineer you will work closely with your team, pilot scientists and technicians in pilot-scale production to better understand the capacity of our production facilities. You will be part of the journey in starting up new pilot facilities, as well as improving existing ones through capacity analysis.Your primary tasks will include:

  • Understanding API Pilots production and translating it to flowsheet models using discrete event simulation tools
  • Through simulations, provide inputs for process operation and design of current and future production facilities
  • Quantifying the current state and identifying process bottleneck
  • Collaborating with experts from various fields to generate ideas for process improvements

Candidate profileAs we aim to find the best personal fit for our team, we can suit the position to fit both soon-to-be graduates or slightly more experienced applicants.

  • M.Sc in chemical engineering or similar educational background
  • Experience and/or education within mathematical modelling, model analysis or process design of chemical processes
  • High interest and understanding within chemical processes
  • API manufacturing knowledge and experience is considered an advantage

We expect you are a curious person, open-minded and ager to continuously learn and improve. You are a problem solver, and own great desire to help and understand our stakeholders situation. You speak fluent English, Danish language is an advantage.About the departmentYou will be part of the department CMC API Pilots Business Support in the team Data & Supply Chain, located at the Novo Nordisk headquarter site in Bagsværd. We are a high performing team driven by an eagerness to support our production facilities in Denmark and the Czech Republic and drive process optimization and solve complex business challenges. Our team consists of 14 professionals working with capacity modelling, supply chain, production planning, data solutions and project management.
