For our client, a company in the IT industry, we are looking for a Cisco WLAN Engineer for a permanent role.Place of work: Reinach (BL) and Schönbühl (BE)Your responsibilities:– You develop, configure and operate modern Cisco Enterprise network solutions with a focus on WLAN and Catalyst Center.
– You support our support teams with your in-depth technical know-how
– You work closely with the sales team and contribute your expertise to the preparation of offers
– You develop and present technical solution concepts for our customers
– You carry out error analyses and troubleshooting at customers’ sites
– You create Statements of Work ( SoW) for our projects
– You will be on call for approximately 3 weeks per year
Your qualifications:– You have a solid education in computer science
– You are passionate about Cisco technologies , ideally you have a CCNP certification (WLAN or R&S)
– You have in-depth knowledge of Cisco WLAN and Catalyst Center, or are interested in deepening your knowledge
– Knowledge in IT security (e.g. F5, Check Point, Fortinet) is a plus
– You value targeted training and personal development
– You are a team player with initiative and a strong customer focus
– You work in a structured, independent manner and maintain an overview even in complex projects
– You are enthusiastic about new technologies – you are willing to learn and curious
– You understand Swiss German, communicate confidently in German (C1/C2) and have very good English skills
– You have a category B driving license and are mobile within German-speaking Switzerland
