Clinic Manager (Healthcare Clinic – Fermoy)Position: Permanent
Location: Fermoy
Salary: €40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMAre you an experienced, highly organised professional with an interest in healthcare management? My client is seeking a Clinic Manager to join their dedicated team in their healthcare clinic in Fermoy. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic while delivering exceptional patient care.Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient diary management to ensure optimal scheduling of appointments and patient flow.
  • Overseeing the daily running of the clinic and managing junior administrators.
  • Keeping internal patient systems updated post patient visits, calls, and communications.
  • Monitoring and responding to queries from the general information email inbox.
  • Answering the phone in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Typing and formatting reports and documents as required.
  • Managing clinic operations, including preparing patient paperwork, managing diary gaps, checking patients in and out, and processing payments.
  • Creating and verifying invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Managing other administrative tasks such as receipt writing, insurance documentation, and letter writing to patients.
  • Regular communication with your direct report to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding patient information and clinic business.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and ensuring ongoing patient satisfaction.
  • Ensuring all clinic policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a Senior Administrator position.
  • Proven people management skills and experience in managing teams.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality customer service and patient-centred care.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Full, clean driving license and own mode of transport.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to other clinic locations when covering annual or sick leave.
  • Strong communication skills, with an empathetic approach to dealing with patients and their families.
