Your managerial skills and clinical expertise will guide your team in providing compassionate and effective care to our patients.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring high standards of care are met.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote safe and effective practice within the nursing home.
• Ensure all nursing records are accurately maintained and that patient care is documented appropriately.
• Provide leadership support, mentoring, and development for nursing staff, promoting continuous education and skill enhancement.
• Instruct and evaluate nursing staff in their clinical practices and encourage a culture of teamwork and respect.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Address any concerns or grievances, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years of post-registration experience in a similar role.
• Our organization is located in rural Galway, and it is essential to have a dependable private transportation arrangement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with patients and staff.
• Candidates must possess CNM experience in Ireland, hold a valid work permit, and an active NMBI PIN.
• We are seeking an individual who is available to start immediately
